- Initially joined and helped build all of the tech automating our Editions kitchens
- Rewrote the consumer restaurant listing and search bringing worst case cities (e.g. Paris) from a load time of 12s to 150ms
- Led the deployment of Karat to outsource our video coding screens. I helped negotiate the contract, worked with recruiting to define the roles, worked with Karat to define the interview format, and trained our engineers to review interviews to ensure Karat holding our hiring bar. This is now the default first step of our interview process for almost all engineering roles.
- Transitioned to Engineering Manager II in May 2019, managing teams in both London and NYC
- Transitioned to Senior Engineering Manager in April 2022, managing over a dozen engineers and another Engineering Manager with their own team.

- Developed distributed C# calculation engine (replacing an all-SQL implementation) to calculate long-term daily weights and returns for portfolio attribution product; reduced calculation time from over an hour to less than 5 minutes for a large index fund, calculated daily, for a 10 year period. Returned data via Protocol Buffers
- Developed a portfolio uploader tool that allowed user to bulk import their portfolio holdings by either uploading a spreadsheet, a CSV, or copy and pasting tabular data from any source. The tool would then match ticker symbols, allow user to preview import and fix any mistakes, and ingest their data into our application
- Redesigned portfolio report data model to decrease loading time of viewing a report from several minutes to under 5 seconds
